The Challenge
PPCS, a black and women owned company based in Central Ohio, is dedicated to making medical appointments more accessible for patients. However, they faced numerous challenges in providing transportation services for these appointments.
A major challenge was ensuring patients could easily book their rides online. They did not have a way to allow customers to book in real time.
Another challenge was coordinating schedules and routes effectively. With clients located all across Central Ohio, it was crucial to optimize routes to minimize travel time while still accommodating individual needs and preferences.
Additionally, PPCS had to address concerns regarding trust and safety. Patients needed reassurance that their drivers were reliable and capable of handling medical transportation with sensitivity and professionalism.
To overcome these challenges, Eko Square adopted a comprehensive approach while designing the website for PPCS. We focused on creating a user-friendly interface that would be accessible even for those with limited technological experience. The booking process was simplified through clear instructions and intuitive design elements.
In terms of scheduling, we implemented advanced algorithms that analyzed various factors such as location proximity, appointment times, and patient preferences to create optimized routes efficiently.
